Love Island bombshell Reece Ford is seemingly already making waves among the girls in the villa, having already caught the attention of a few on Instagram.
Tonight, four new arrivals are going to be making their grand entrances, following a brutal dumping that will see two contestants sent home.
The new bombshells include 23-year-old model Reece, 27-year-old footballer Jamie Allen, 25-year-old dancer Lacey Edwards and 23-year-old influencer Nathalia Campos, with their entrances begging the question – will anyone’s head turn, with less than two weeks to go until the final?
Over on Reece’s Instagram, which currently has over 7,000 followers, the admin running his account shared screenshots on his Story of posts originally uploaded in September 2021, July 2021 and October 2017, which were liked by Tasha, Gemma and Ekin-Su respectively.
Considering the admins running the Love Island stars’ accounts frequently interact with each other, it might have been that the posts were liked after Reece was announced as a bombshell.
However, the person behind Reece’s profile appeared to imply they date back further, writing on the Story post: ‘Tasha, Ekin-Su & Gemma have all liked Reece’s posts before. Could their heads turn?’
They then added: ‘Or will someone else’s head turn? Or could it be an ex?’
Despite the tease about Reece maybe having an ex in the villa, he admitted in an interview conducted ahead of his arrival that he’s never been in a relationship.
When asked what he thinks makes him a ‘catch’ and what makes him a ‘good boyfriend’, he responded: ‘I’ve never had a girlfriend to be honest but I know how to make a girl feel special with little or big gestures.’
He admitted that he used to be ‘a bit of a “Jack the lad” and a player’, but now he feels as though he’s ‘more mature and ready to find love’.
Reece confessed that he has ‘very high standards’ in the dating world, stating: ‘I am the fussiest person ever when it comes to girls’.
While being fussy could stand in Reece’s way during the limited time he has in the villa before the series ends, he also warned that he isn’t afraid of ‘stepping on anyone’s toes’.
‘I feel like I am quite confident so I wouldn’t care about stepping on anyone’s toes that doesn’t really bother me. I am going in there to find love so that’s all a part of it really,’ he said.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
