A fresh set of nails can solve a myriad of problems.

Missed your bus? Get a manicure. Fighting with your partner? De-stress with a new paint job.

World falling apart around you? You get the idea.

While we do love our monthly trips to the salon, time is of the essence.

Life is busy and sometimes beauty treatments fall to the bottom of the list.

However, one woman has shared a genius trick to create a flawless French manicure at home in minutes.

And all you need is a beauty sponge.

User Maria Zarkova shared the hack in a video that has been viewed over 690,000 times.

In the clip, she takes a beauty sponge and places some white nail varnish onto the bottom half.

She then carefully presses her nail into the sponge to create a neat tip.

‘It works,’ Maria wrote. ‘But you need to be fast, as the polish dries quickly.’

Maria noted that because less polish is used, the method is not messy.

Yet, she warned users that practice is required for a perfect finish.

Fellow users were amazed at the seamless technique.

‘Omg. This. I love French manicures but they are so far to do,’ wrote one follower.

‘I tried all sorts of ways to do French tip..I’ll try this next time,’ added another.

In another video, Maria shared another process to create a French manicure on both hands in five minutes.

Instead of a sponge, Maria paints white nail varnish onto the opposite thumb.

Next, she presses the tip of each nail into the paint to create a straight thin line.

She also advises users to push harder for a thicker effect.

TikTok fans were equally impressed by the system which Maria described as being perfect ‘for those with shaky hands.’

‘I think you’ve just won the award for one of the best TikTok videos,’ commented an influenced viewer.

While another asked: ‘Where have you been my whole life?’
