Addison Rae is dishing all on her friendship with Kourtney Kardashian and has revealed the solid advice her new BFF has given her when it comes to living in the spotlight.
The TikTok star, 20, and Kourtney, 41, first crossed paths thanks to Kourtney’s son Mason, 11, being a super-fan of Addison.
Friendship soon blossomed between Addison and Kourtney, with the girls regularly seen hanging out together and getting that social media content.
So much so, that Kourtney has now becoming something of a confidante for Addison, who is just starting out when it comes to finding fame.
Opening up about their friendship, Addison says she really ‘looks up to’ Kourtney, who knows all to well what it’s like to be in the spotlight.
Revealing the advice Kourtney gave her when it comes to being in the public eye, Addison told Glamour magazine: ‘Something that she told me was, “Make sure you’re always enjoying what you’re doing because this is the life you’re living. Make sure it’s something that you’re proud of and you’re continuing to do the thing you love.”‘
Addison said: ‘It’s really inspiring to see people that are so happy in their lives and are so put together after everything they’ve been through. That’s why I look up to Kourtney a lot and her entire family – throughout everything you can lean back on your family and friends to really have that emotional and mental support.
‘It really pulls you through at the end.’
Addison and Keeping Up With The Kardshians star Kourtney were first seen hanging out last summer and were quick to hit back at some fans, who claimed they were ‘weirded out’ by their friendship – given their 20-year age difference.
Kourtney had no time for haters, as she fired back at one person on Instagram who commented on a picture of her and Addison in the pool: ‘This friendship still weirds me tf out. She’s 41 and she’s hanging around with 19 year olds in swimming pools.’
The mum-of-three responded: ‘Do you suggest a better place? I’m looking for ideas…’
It came after Addison revealed how the pair became friends, as she explained they initially surprised Kourtney’s eldest son Mason.
‘We surprised Mason because Mason liked my videos on TikTok,’ Addison told The Tom Ward Show. ‘I kind of just stuck around and we got really close. We started working out together.’
She said: ‘We did a video on her YouTube of us doing a butt workout and stuff, so that was fun.’
