Amanda Bynes has split from fiancé Paul Mitchell, it has been claimed.
The She’s The Man actress, 36, announced her engagement to her beau in 2020, after just a few months of dating.
There appeared to be trouble between the lovebirds just a few weeks ago when it was reported that they had ended their engagement – but were remaining together.
However, they are now thought to have ended their relationship for good.
According to E! News, a source confirmed that they have gone their separate ways.
Amanda – who was freed from her conservatorship battle in March – has not yet spoken publicly about the split claims.
The Amanda Show star revealed the surprise news of her engagement to Paul on Valentine’s Day in 2020, after just a few months of dating.
She went on to describe her ex-fiancé as the ‘love of her life’ on social media.
‘Hey everyone, this is Paul, my fiancé,’ she said while introducing her then-partner to fans.
‘I’m so lucky. As you can see, he’s drop-dead gorgeous. He’s also the best person on the face of the earth.’
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing for the couple, who briefly called time on their relationship shortly after making their engagement public knowledge, before revealing their reconciliation.
Amanda and law student Paul decided to ‘put a pause’ on their plans to head up the aisle earlier this month, but an insider insisted that they were still committed to each other despite the move.
‘They are still together as a couple, but they have put a pause on their engagement and wedding planning,’ the source told E! News.
‘They have gone through ups and downs together and personally and realized they might have moved quickly, but they love each other and are still committed to one another.
‘They wear rings now to show their loyalty to each other and as a symbol of learning and growing together. But the rings aren’t everything to them. They are busy but working hard together.
‘Amanda looks great and has gotten through many hard and significant experiences that have helped make her an incredible woman. She is sober, killing it and doing better than ever. Paul is in law school after working in healthcare for 10 years and doing well.’
