Billie is ok sharing a glimpse of her secret tattoo (Picture: Vogue)
Billie Eilish has had a clear change of heart after insisting we’ll never see her ‘secret tattoo’ as she showed off a glorious hip inking as part of her breathtaking British Vogue cover shoot.
The star’s feature with the fashion magazine emerged over the weekend and it’s nothing short of spectacular, with Billie rocking a custom Burberry corset and delicate lingerie in the shoot.
Sharing the photos with fans, Billie said: ‘i love these pictures and i loved doing this shoot. do whatever you want whenever you want. F**k everything else. [sic]’
What has caught many a fan’s eye, though, is the star’s tattoo on her hip – which she previously insisted would be kept under wraps.
Safe to say, the lot of us are deceased with this revelation.
In a couple of the photos – which are inspired by old school pin-ups – the Happier Than Ever star’s inking can be seen snaking from her torso, over her hips and down her right thigh.
While she didn’t open up about what the tattoo depicted, in the tiny glimpse it appeared to be a flowy image of…something. Hair? Frayed rope? Fans were both loving the ink while also wondering what it was, with some suggesting it was a dementor from Harry Poter, as others thought it was a dragon.
It follows her chat with Vanity Fair last year in which she revealed she got a tattoo.
Speaking during the fourth installment of her ‘same interview’ series (where she answers the same questions a year apart each time), the Bad Guy singer teased: ‘I did get a tattoo. But you won’t ever see it.’
In the interview with Vogue that went alongside the photos, Billie said: ‘I’ve literally never done anything in this realm at all.
‘Y’know, besides when I’m alone and s**t.’
Billie told the publication: ‘Somehow, I feel more like a woman,’ before adding: ‘It’s all about what makes you feel good. If you want to get surgery, go get surgery.
‘If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f**k it – if you feel like you look good, you look good.’
Yet again, Billie saying what we need to hear.
