Billie Eilish has celebrated the music video for her hit Bad Guy reaching 1billion views on YouTube in the coolest way.

After smashing the total number of YouTube views for her much-loved track, Billie decided to mark Bad Guy’s success by teaming up with the platform and creating the first ever ‘infinite’ music video.

Yup, you heard that right, infinite.

It basically has put together tens of thousands of covers of Bad Guy that are currently on YouTube in a new video available at billie.withyoutube.com.

That means that when people head to the site to watch the video, each viewing will be unique to the next. As the video plays, fans can flick between different covers of the track, too.

It begins with Billie’s original Bad Guy video, while the rest are all synced up for a seamless switch between videos and there’s even hashtags offering different versions of the song – from signing, to metal and even aerobics.

A trailer to the ultimate Bad Guy video can be watched on YouTube and basically summarises Billie’s epic idea for fans, while teasing a look at some of the covers on offer and revealing: ‘One song. Thousands of covers. Never the same twice.’

It comes as the five-time Grammy Award winner is gearing up to release new music.

Billie teased that she’s leaving her ‘baby voice’ behind for her new music, as she feels like she has ‘grown’ so much in the two years since she recorded her debut album titled When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music show, Billie said she loves her first album, but is very aware that she is so ‘young’ on it.

‘I like hear it and all I hear is just like a baby voice. I don’t know. It’s weird. I just feel like the new stuff that we’re making is so… it’s just weird how much you grow in two years,’ she revealed.

Billie, who recently released her new single Therefore I Am, continued: ‘For most of this year, like the first half of this year, I felt very trapped in my own facade weirdly.

‘It happens occasionally still, but there was a couple of months in there where I was like, everything I wore, I was like, “Oh, I look like Billie Eilish,” everything I said, everything I did.’

She explained: ‘We would make music and I would be like, this feels… I kept feeling like, what’s the word? Inauthentic. Yeah, an inauthentic version of myself, because I felt like I was being myself too much.’
