Billie Eilish, Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka, and Amanda Gorman will serve as co-chairs at the upcoming Met Gala.
Yep, the Gen-Z superstars are going to join the biggest names in entertainment and fashion for the grand return of the Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s annual ball and we cannot wait to see what they wear on the night.
Considering the fact Billie just broke the internet with her glamorous British Vogue shoot, we are ready to expect the unexpected from the hitmaker.
Actor Timothée and tennis champion Naomi already made names for themselves as stylish stars thanks to their red carpet looks, while poet Amanda Gorman’s sartorial prowess has been celebrated just as much as her talent with words.
Tom Ford, Adam Mosseri, and Anna Wintour will serve as the evening’s honorary chairs on September 13.
The Met Gala will be part of the Costume Institute’s exploration of the nation’s sartorial identity, ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,’ which promises to be a deep dive into American ingenuity.

According to Vogue, ‘each of the Met’s four co-hosts embodies the defining factor of American style: individualism.
‘They may approach the concept differently, but their shared passion for expressing themselves through clothing connects with the exhibition’s theme.’
The event – which was canceled last year due to the pandemic – is normally held the first Monday in May, but has been pushed back to back to be safe.
The 2021 Met Gala will take place on September 13.
