Blake Lively’s desperate for a ‘Hollywood Handshake’ from Bake Off’s Paul for epic unicorn cake

If Blake Lively ever turns up on a celebrity version of Great British Bake Off, it won’t come as much of a surprise as she’s revealed she is desperate for a Hollywood Handshake.

The actress, 33, shared a video of her latest baking creation, an impressive unicorn cake, as she told her followers: ‘If I don’t get a handshake from @paul.hollywood after decorating this one, I quit.’

Blake had pulled out quite the showstopper with the pink cake, which featured a golden horn and ears as well as hundreds of tiny stars, flowers and colourful balls for decoration.

Fans were seriously impressed and surprised that she was such a dab hand in the kitchen, flooding her comments with praise, including: ‘Who allowed u to have so much talent?’

Others added: ‘That looks amazing,’ ‘queen of decorating cakes’ and ‘That’s looks so good!! You’re super talented.’

Paul Hollywood famously gives bakers a handshake when they have created a bake that not only looks amazing but that tastes incredible, too.

They’ve become widely recognised on Bake Off as the highest level of praise a baker can achieve, and if it tastes as good as it looks, we reckon Blake would easily qualify for one with her unicorn cake.

Paul is notoriously frugal with his handshakes, so only a handful (no pun intended) of cooks have managed to secure one on the show.

During the latest series of Bake Off only three handshakes were awarded to the hopefuls taking part.

Blake didn’t reveal who the lucly recipient of the unicorn cake was but she shares three daughters – six-year-old James, Inez, four, and one-year-old Betty, with husband Ryan Reynolds, and we’ve no doubt all of them had a great time tucking into this culinary masterpiece.
