Brian McFadden has shared his fiancée Danielle Parkinson’s sonogram as they wait for the arrival of their first baby after struggling with IVF.
The couple are expecting their baby in May 2021 having tried to become pregnant several times.
In an interview with OK! magazine Danielle, a PE teacher, said she felt they ‘got lucky’ on their third try, having previously suffered a miscarriage.

The former Westlife star posted the image on Instagram celebrating the fact the couple are ‘halfway’ to meeting their little bundle of joy.
He wrote in the picture caption: ‘Baby Mac!! We’re half way there. X’.
Brian’s famous friends congratulated him in the comments, with Towie star James ‘Arg’ Argent writing: ‘So excited for you both!!!’.
Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Ola Jordan said: ‘Can’t wait’ with a red love heart emoji, while her husband James added: ‘So happy for you both’.
Singer Ben Ofoedu, who is in a relationship with presenter Vanessa Feltz, wrote: ‘Awwwe man!! Congratulations brother a massive Mazel Tov from Vanessa and I.’
The couple have opened up about how they were left ‘devastated’ after the miscarriage.
‘Danielle said: ‘It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel awful saying that, as I’ve had so many messages on Instagram.
‘The IVF community is so lovely and I’ve heard real traumatic stories from people who have been trying for 10 years, people who have had eight-plus miscarriages, so I feel we got lucky on our third attempt.’
Singer Brian has daughters Molly, 19, and Lily-Sue, 17, with ex-wife Kerry Katona.
He revealed that he was ‘in tears’ when he shared their baby joy with them.
The Real To Me singer said: ‘Both of them were pretty much in tears when they saw the scan because they’ve been on the roller-coaster with us.’
Brian and Danielle have been dating since 2016 and got engaged in December last year.
