Britney Spears doesn’t care if her dance videos on Instagram aren’t perfect, and she doesn’t think her fans should either.
The singer took to Instagram on Monday to share her thoughts about the pressure to be perfect on social media.
Opening up to fans about why she likes to make her low-key dancing videos and shares simple selfies, the 39-year-old wrote: ‘I’m trying to learn how to use technology in this technology driven generation but to be totally honest with you I can’t stand it !!!
‘So … if my posts aren’t perfect … I’m doing this for fun !!!!’
The Womanizer singer then made it clear that she won’t be changing her ways anytime soon either.
If you think I should look like I’m on a magazine cover when I dance …. sorry ain’t happening!!!!’ the Grammy winner continued.
The post comes after Brit has treated fans to clips of her dancing along to J Balvin’s Mi Gente, Billie Eilish’s i love you and even Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s track Holy Grail.
The Toxic singer delighted her Instagram followers when she posted a minute-long clip of herself performing an interpretive dance to the 2013 single.
‘Danced in my black ? neck last week to HOLY GRAIL !!!! I KNOW … turtle necks are SO ME ???♀️✨?? !!!! @justintimberlake,’ Britney captioned the post.
Yep, she even tagged her former flame directly.
In the clip, Britney body rolls and twirls around her living area and, even if filmed last week, it’s worth noting that she still had her Christmas tree up mid-January.
It’s not known if Justin has watched the video yet or what he thinks of his ex’s moves but no doubt it’s appreciated.
