Britney Spears’s conservatorship battle may be rumbling on, but the singer managed to squeeze in some downtime to enjoy a holiday to Maui with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari.
The Toxic star, 39, shared a video of their trip to the stunning island, revealing glorious blue skies and palm trees.
She shared footage of her and Sam, 27, having drinks delivered to their sunlounger by a waiter before Britney was seen on Sam’s back as the pair enjoyed time in the pool together.
Britney wrote alongside it: ‘Ok so I took a trip to Maui and let’s just say it was NICE… so nice I didn’t want to leave at all!!!!
‘I had a couple of embarrassing moments of living each day like it was my last!!!! If you haven’t done that… I strongly suggest you do!!!
‘There are a couple moments where people might look at you like you’re coocoo but I feel ambitious… TIME AFTER TIME I feel it’s my duty to share not what I know but what I need to learn as well!!!

‘So s**t… I need to remember this post so I will live more in the moment…. and if you brought a luxury pen with you I suggest you write this book down… Baby Proof by @emilygiffinauthor!!!! PS of course I danced there too!!!!’
Her post comes amid the ongoing court case regarding Britney’s conservatorship, which she has been under since 2008.
Britney has shown opposition to her dad’s role as conservator, requesting that he be replaced by her care manager Jodi Montgomery.
According to new reports, the New York Times has shared details from ‘confidential court records’ which claim that Britney expressed ‘serious opposition’ to the conservatorship, which restricted everything from ‘whom she dated to the colour of her kitchen cabinets’.
Britney is also set to speak to the Los Angeles court directly today during a hearing which is being held remotely, after her lawyer told the judge earlier this year that the mother-of-two wanted to speak out ‘on an expedited basis’.
