Brooklyn Beckham has unveiled a new tattoo in memory of his fiancée Nicola Peltz’s late grandmother Gina, as a birthday present to the Transformers actress.
The model and aspiring photographer, 22, celebrated his wife-to-be’s 27th birthday with her on Sunday, and posted a gushing tribute on Instagram, where he said he fell ‘more in love’ with the TV star ‘every single day.’
His new – and 39th – tattoo was then shared by Nicola on her Instagram account, as she posted a shot of the inking on the left of his torso, which reads ‘Focused in the present, sincere towards others and trusting in our self, know that you cannot fail’.
Nicola, who was clearly touched by the gesture, wrote in her caption: ‘He got gina’s prayer tattooed 🥺 she passed two years ago today ❤️ 💔 🙏 @brooklynbeckham you’re my soulmate.’
This time last year, the doting fiancé and freshly-minted cooking show host had Gina’s name tattooed on his arm, after she died in January 2020, just ahead of his then-girlfriend’s 25th birthday.
Again sharing the ink on Instagram, Nicola had dubbed it the ‘best birthday gift’ ahead of Brooklyn going a step further this year.
The couple purchased a $10.5million (£7.6m) Beverly Hills home together in July, ahead of Brooklyn reportedly clinching a £1million modelling deal with high street label Superdry.
It comes as Brooklyn’s youngest brother Cruz appeared to show off his fist tattoo on Instagram on Thursday, as he made the most of family time in the sun in Miami with parents David and Victoria Beckham, alongside older brother Romeo, 19, and younger sister Harper, 10.
The 16-year-old posted a picture of himself sitting on the edge of a boat, with the inking of a butterfly on his thigh just visible in the photo.
At 16, Cruz would have been unable to be inked in the UK as it’s against the law for under 18s to get a tattoo, with or without parental permission, whereas Florida allows 16 and 17-year-olds to go under the needle providing they have a guardian’s consent on a state-mandate form.
Romeo also upped his tattoo count with a winged cross on the back of his neck, just like his famous footballer father, who still leads the family tattoo count with a whopping 63.
