Cheryl has revealed she celebrated her birthday with her bestie Kimberley Walsh, sharing photos and videos from their stunning dinner party.

The Fight For This Love star turned 38 on Wednesday and posed with a cupcake with a candle in it on a plate decorated with chocolate sauce reading ‘Happy Birthday’ to mark the occasion.

She wrote: ‘Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes, I had the loveliest day.’

Cheryl also reposted a photo from Kimberley as she posed with her son, before sharing videos of the incredible spread her bestie had organised.

Kimberley added: ‘About last night… happiest of birthdays to this special one @cherylofficial we love you.

‘The most gorgeous food set up thanks to my friend Scott the @private_chef_direct who also left me a fridge full of food for the week which means no cooking and enough desserts to satisfy this breast feeding mama and my sweet tooth. If you know you know.’

Cheryl’s post comes after she recently returned to social media after a year off Instagram, but she has vowed to remain out of the limelight more in order to focus on the things that make her happy.

She vowed to be less busy, telling Marie Claire: ‘I’m not doing that to myself again. I’m only going to do stuff that makes me truly happy.

‘I think life falls into place when you focus on that intent. Only happiness. Only authenticity. I won’t spend time on anything that makes me feel stressed or nervous. I haven’t got the energy.

‘It’s not worth it. The pandemic actually taught us that. You speak to people now and they don’t want to go back to their normal lives.

‘I think we’ve learnt a really valuable lesson, as horrible and tragic and despicable as it was, and it brought a lot of awareness and self reflection, for the better. It’s about what’s important, and what makes you happy, and what makes you miserable.’
