Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt have been seen having a catch up with the rest of the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder ahead of filming starting next week.
The pair were seen sharing an animated conversation before giving each other a long-awaited hug as they got together with the rest of the cast at the Crown hotel complex in Sydney Australia.
Director Taika Waititi was also in attendance at the get-together which was in celebration of filming beginning imminently.
All of the cast members were present and eyewitnesses say the private event carried on until almost midnight.
Hemsworth will be reprising his role as Thor in the upcoming film, while Pratt will join the movie as Star Lord aka Peter Quill.
The outing is the first time Pratt has been seen out and about in Australia, after completing his mandatory 14-day quarantine after flying in from the USA on a private jet with co-stars Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan.
Pratt had also let his appearance in the film slip during an interview with actor Tom Holland – also a notorious leaker – on Instagram Live.
He said: ‘I’m excited to go a country that took the lockdown very serious and eradicated the disease and now they’re fully up and back to normal.
‘That’ll be so good there and to go to like a restaurant.’
Holland responded, shocked: ‘Wait a minute, did you just say you’re going to be in Thor? That’s so crazy.’
Pratt replied: ‘Yeah… am I not supposed to say that?’ to which Holland said: ‘I feel like no one knew that, bro.’
The actor replied: No they knew that I think, they knew that.. If they didn’t know now.’
Despite many films being pushed back or having to halt production due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Thor: Love and Thunder is still scheduled for release on February 11, 2022.
