Chris Pratt was seen begging his pal and co-star Chris Hemsworth to stop working out and, tbh, we don’t blame him.

Hemsworth pretty much had all our jaws hitting the floor (in shock, horror, admiration – a real mix of emotions, if you will) when he shared a new snap of him looking insanely buffed up.

He’s gearing up to star in the fourth Thor movie, titled Love and Thunder, and has confirmed that there’s an Extraction sequel on the way, with both roles requiring him to be in pretty good shape.

Well, it’s fair to say he’s already there, as Hemsworth was pictured lifting a huge tyre with his bulging biceps and the incredibly fit snap caught the eye of Pratt who had the best response.

He and Hemsworth are set to star alongside each other in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, after fans saw Thor (Hemsworth) have over Asgard to join Star-Lord (Pratt) and the Guardians at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

An hilariously concerned Pratt commented: ‘Hey bud. Just heard from my trainer and he needs you to stop working out because since we’re gonna be in the same movie and everything he doesn’t want me to stand next to you if you look like that.’

‘So I’m gonna need you to put on 25 lbs real quick cool thanks,’ he joked.

Hemsworth was equally as entertaining in his reply, as he wrote back: ‘@prattprattpratt don’t worry mate we can just both use the same fancy filter that’s been applied here. It’s called instashred.’

The Australian actor had originally captioned his beast mode post: ‘Cheat day today. Decided to treat myself to this extra large donut, gosh it’s heavy @centrfit.’

As well as Guardians of the Galaxy 3, fans will see Pratt join Hemsworth on screen in the next instalment of Thor, as he was recently confirmed for the cast.

Him poking fun at Hemsworth comes after Pratt recently found himself the target of a social media pile-on, following a poll that surfaced online asking fans ‘which Hollywood Chris is the best’.

It pitted Pratt against Hemsworth, Chris Evans (who plays Captain America) and Chris Pine, with fans voting Pratt as the ‘worst Chris’ out of the four.

He also faced backlash for being noticeably absent from an Avengers fundraiser that threw support behind new US president Joe Biden ahead of the election and it led to social media questioning the star’s beliefs online and accusing him of not being politically-engaged.

Many of Pratt’s co-stars jumped to his defence and spoke out in support of him on social media, including Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Robert Downey Jr and Josh Brolin, who called the movie talent a ‘stand-up dude’.
