Chrissy Teigen proved you really do learn something new every dafter getting confused between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.
The US star, 36, was exploring the capital with her brood when she made the blunder, and asked a taxi driver to take her to the wrong destination for her family photo.
Sharing an adorable snap with husband John Legend and their kids – Luna, five, and Miles, three – Chrissy took to Instagram to tell her 36.4million followers about the awkward moment.
Never one to shy away from laughing at herself, she wrote: ‘Asked the driver to take us to the London bridge for a family photo. Quickly realized the London bridge is a very unexciting bridge. Tower Bridge should be London bridge! I always thought it was anyhow haha aaah learning is fun.’
The photo showed the four smiling with the landmark in the background, with Chrissy and John wrapped up in stylish coats.
Little Luna looked sweet in a white dress and tights while younger brother Miles was every inch the cool kid in a striped sweater.
Fans were quick to school the TV star in the comments, with one informing her she isn’t the first to get mixed up: ‘Fun face: a wealthy American bought London Bridge from the city of London thinking he was buying tower bridge and now there is a slab of concrete in Arizona.’
Another commenter assured: ‘Don’t worry, a lot of people from the UK don’t know this either 😂’
A handful of followers argued that ‘it’s the Fergie song misleading people,’ referring to the singer’s 2006 track London Bridge.
The internet has since pointed out that The Black Eyed Peas star was actually singing about Tower Bridge, not London Bridge in the tune.
The hook reads: ‘My London, London Bridge wanna go down,’ when London Bridge does not go down.
Tower Bridge, on the other hand, goes up and down all the time.
Chrissy’s boo-boo after recently showing off her brow transplant.
The author couldn’t wait to reveal her bushy brows on the ‘gram following a procedure that involves putting hair ‘from the back of your head’ to the eyebrows.
This creates a fuller, more luscious appearance and is favoured for those who over-plucked as teens.
Showing off her new look on social media, Chrissy had previously said how ‘excited’ she was to undergo the procedure.
Of course, not everyone on Instagram was a fan of her new brows so, in true Chrissy style, she called out those who had a problem.
Responding to the haters on her story alongside a screenshot of an article about it, she wrote: ‘WHY are peoples so f** riled up over any little thing I do? You’re gonna give yourselves a heart attack. (sic)’
In a previous clip, Chrissy had said of the procedure: ‘ They look so cool. He did hairs up here to even them out. Crazy.’
The Cravings author added: ‘A little dark from the pencil it’s so cool to have brows again!’
The model then warned her followers against over-plucking so they wouldn’t need to have a transplant in the future.
