Coleen Nolan has officially introduced her new boyfriend of seven months, Michael Jones, delving into their sex life and revealing how they talk about marriage ‘all the time’.

Loose Women star Coleen, 56, met 57-year-old Michael, who works in logistics for a supermarket chain, on Tinder, with both admitting from their very first six-hour date in a pub that they knew it was something special.

Coleen admitted that finding love with a new partner was ‘something that I genuinely thought would never happen again’, after divorcing second husband Ray Fensome in 2018.

Michael revealed that he recognised her picture on the dating app but ‘didn’t know much about her’ although he knew she’d been in girl group the Nolans and was on Loose Women.

Getting candid about her sex life being reawakened, Coleen told OK! magazine: ‘It’s just lovely to know that I’m not dead from the waist down! It’s better than ever and it’s all in working order. It’s a fantastic feeling.’

She added: ‘I’ll be sitting there in my pyjamas with no make-up on, swollen eyes and a cold sore and he still looks at me like I’m the best thing since sliced bread.

Revealing that her partner looks at her like she’s ‘the best thing since sliced bread’ even in pyjamas with swollen eyes and a cold sore, she continued: ‘Normally I’d be thinking, “I need to put make-up on or he won’t fancy me or love me!” And Michael’s come along and he just looks at me like I’ve never been looked at before.’

The star also revealed that it felt like the first time she’s entered a relationship ‘as an emotionally mature woman’ and said ‘there aren’t enough adjectives’ to describe her new-found happiness.

Michael was the first to say he loved Coleen, with the former singer admitting she ‘freaked out’ and ‘was always having wobbles and telling him I couldn’t see him’ – but it wasn’t long before she returned the favour.

‘And it grows stronger and deeper every day now,’ she added.

On the topic of marriage, it’s something they discuss all the time with Coleen saying Michael calls it ‘inevitable’, and she agrees.

The couple have met each other’s children, with Coleen mum to Shane Jr, 33, and Jake, 29, with first husband Shane Richie, and Ciara, 20, with second husband Ray.

Michael is dad to 20-year-old Nico from a previous relationship, and has also been married before.

Michael even spent Christmas Day with Coleen’s ex Ray and, despite a bit of a rocky start with Ciara – who Coleen shared ‘initially wasn’t quite sure how to handle it [their relationship] – is pleased that ‘everyone has gelled together really well’.

On recent reports that Loose Women hosts were ‘refusing’ to work with Coleen – something which ITV bosses strongly denied – the star admitted it had ‘really hurt’ and been ‘so upsetting’.

However, she was grateful for her ‘supportive’ girls after panellists including Stacey Solomon, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards took to social media to refute the claims.

Coleen shared: ‘I could never be “high and mighty” because my mother would jump up from her grave and batter me. I can’t stand divas of any kind. I’ve had enough drama in my life, I don’t need any more!

‘This is my time to enjoy myself, and I’m not going to let anyone spoil it. I just want a quiet life with Michael, feeding my goats and doing Loose Women.’
