Daniel Craig has revealed it takes 20 suits to see him through one single action scene as James Bond.

The actor, 53, who is gearing up for the release of new Bond movie No Time To Die later this month, revealed he burns through his tailored two-pieces during filming.

Seriously, someone give that man’s tailor a raise.

In character as 007, Daniel is often performing stunts on set and speaking in a new episode of No Time To Die’s official podcast, he revealed: ‘If I have a suit that’s involved in an action sequence, I need 20 or 25 of them.’

Well, sure we know that Bond always has to look his sharpest self, but that’s a lot of suits for just one scene.

No Time To Die will see Daniel grace the big screen as Bond for the final time, as he’s hanging up his boots as the nation’s favourite secret agent.

In total, the movie talent has starred in five Bond films in total; Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and new release No Time To Die.

As he prepares to bid the iconic character goodbye, Daniel has been reflecting on his time portraying Bond and admits that at first he struggled to deal with the level of fame that came with the role.

He was thrust into the spotlight in 2006 while filming Casino Royale with his buffed-up body making headlines, as pictures of him in tiny swimming trunks on set surfaced in the press.

Naturally, fans went wild for the shots from the famous beach scene included in the movie and all the attention was a lot for Daniel to take in.

My personal life was affected by being that famous all of a sudden,’ he told The Sun.

‘I used to lock myself in and close the curtains, I was in cloud cuckoo land. I was physically and mentally under siege.’

Daniel revealed: ‘I didn’t like the newfound level of fame,’ Daniel explained. ‘It was Hugh Jackman who helped me to come to terms with it and appreciate it.’Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who helped write the screenplay for No Time To Die, spoke of the pressure the movie’s female stars – including Naomie Harris and Lea Seydoux – faced when it came to being both sexy and smart onscreen.

‘I think there’s pressure on Bond girls, a different pressure now, because they have to deliver everything we loved about Bond girls before but they also have to have this integrity,’ Phoebe shared.

Insisting Naomie and Lea stepped up to the challenge, she added that the actresses ‘nailed’ their roles as 007 new allies.

She gushed: ‘They look gorgeous, are brilliant at the action and deliver their lines with as much class and smarts as all the other characters.’

No Time To Die is due for release in cinemas on September 30.
