Danny Cipriani has tied the knot with his girlfriend of nearly one year Victoria Rose.
The rugby star proposed to Victoria last August after three months of dating, and today, they got married in a low-key ceremony.
Danny, 33, confirmed the happy news on Instagram, where he wrote: ‘Officially Mrs Cipriani @victoriarosecipriani – married my best friend today!!’
In the attached pictures, Victoria, 40, planted a kiss on her husband’s cheek while showing off the wedding ring on her left hand.
Danny also shared a picture from what seemed to be after their wedding, as the newlyweds were showered with confetti.
The athlete wore a white shirt, grey trousers and trainers, while Victoria wore a cream dress, nude heels and a Louis Vuitton scarf.
Friends congratulated Danny on the surprise wedding, with Jack Whitehall writing: ‘Congrats mate x’ and Joe Wicks, Bath Rugby and Rugby Union star Luther Burrell star also leaving comments.
Victoria shared the same photos on her own Instagram and revealed they plan to have a second wedding in the Caribbean when travel restrictions are lifted.
She wrote: ‘Today we officially became Mr & Mrs Cipriani in a small intimate setting with our nearest and dearest. We are looking forward to our big day Caribbean style when travel is permitted.
‘Cheers to love, laughter, but especially to our happily ever after. Our adventure begins ???? @dannycipriani87 I love you.’
She also shared a number of pictures to her Instagram stories showing that a handful of family and friends were present at their wedding.
As well as his rugby career, Danny was known to make headlines in the past for his lothario status, having been linked to famous women including Lindsay Lohan, Katie Price and Kirsty Gallacher.

He also had a high-profile relationship with Kelly Brook between 2008 and 2010, and briefky dated the late Caroline Flack in 2019.
Last summer, Danny announced that he had popped the question to Victoria, writing on social media: ‘You make me the happiest man in the world. I love waking up with you every morning, not knowing which one of our personalities is going to arise, and how we fall in love with each other over and over again. You make every day so much better, I can’t wait to get home from training every day to see you. I can’t imagine life without you. You make me want to be the best man i possibly can for you and our family.
‘You are my now wife to be. I can’t wait to marry you. You’re my lover my best friend, you are so loyal, incredibly intelligent, sexy with so much class. I learn from you all the time. I will never get complacent, you deserve the greatest love every day. We could be doing absolutely nothing for days on end as long as I’m with you. My dream of finding the one i never thought would come true. And it has. I vow to you I’m going to turn up every day. Love and support you for the rest of our lives.’
Later that year, he revealed that Victoria sadly suffered a miscarriage at 24 weeks, and told followers that they had been expecting a son called River.
Danny is now stepfather to Victoria’s two children from previous relationships, Jade, 25, and Kameron, 14, and is a step-grandfather too, as Jade gave birth to her daughter nearly five years ago.
