David Beckham wasn’t ready for daughter Harper to head back to school after the summer holidays.
In a heart-warming video shared by Victoria to Instagram, the dad-of-four, 46, clings to his youngest, 10, as she gets ready to see her classmates again after a month with her family.
The fashion designer, 47, films Harper chopping up a pear, wearing her school uniform and hair in pigtails, and quizzes her about the holidays coming to an end.
‘Harper, how are you feeling about the first day of school?’ the Spice Girl asks.
‘Nervous but very excited,’ replies Harper, before ‘daddy’ wraps his arms around her and begs her in a high-pitched voice: ‘Please don’t go.’
Kissing Harper on the cheek, he pleads: ‘Stay with daddy, stay with me.’
VB also asked: ‘How’s it feel putting on your school uniform after having over a month in shorts and T-shirts?’
‘Not the best,’ Harper confessed.
The video ends with the football legend flashing the camera a proud smile as he clutches onto Harper and says an emotional goodbye.
The Beckham family have certainly had an eventful summer, jam-packed with activities.
They spent time in Miami for David to keep an eye on his football team, Inter Miami, but still managed to make time for splashing about at a water park, with Victoria sharing hilarious snaps of her husband and kids riding slides and soaking her on the way down.
Elsewhere, 16-year-old Cruz was spotted living his best life at Reading Festival with his new girlfriend, and eldest Brooklyn, 22, was also loved-up with fiancée Nicola Peltz as the couple moved into a Beverly Hills home together.
Upon returning to the UK, the Manchester United legend put in an appearance at Soccer Aid as a goodwill ambassador for the children’s charity Unicef.
