When your dad is 90s hair icon David Beckham, it’s never going to be easy to find a ‘do he hasn’t done before – and he made sure sons Romeo and Cruz knew it.

The former footballer, 46, was known for rocking a host of outlandish hairstyles in his heyday, from blonde curtains, to cornrows or a bleached shaved head – and it appears his sons are following in his footsteps.

David shared photos of him at the salon with Romeo, 18, who chose a bleached grey ‘do, and Cruz, 16, who went for bright pink, while David chose a classic platinum blonde.

He wrote:’Sometimes the boys need reminding who did it first in the 90’s. By the look on their faces they are not to pleased about it #DadDidItFirst.’

Hey, it’s not easy trying to do something different when your dad’s already done it all.

The trio’s new hairdos went down a treat with their family, with eldest son Brooklyn, 22, commenting: ‘Looks so cool’,

Wife Victoria Beckham, 47, who was there for all of David’s funky cuts the first time around, added: ‘Dad did do it first and it looks even better this time round!!!!’

Model Coco Rocha also pointed out: ‘Haha! Love that every reference they can possibly copy in 2021 started with mum and dad. Being cool is just a waiting game.’

Looking like their own dad is not the only thing the Beckham kids have to contend with, as Justin Bieber also pointed out that they look like they could be related to him too.

After Romeo shared a photo with little sister Harper for her 10th birthday, in which he had long beachy blonde hair and a hint of a moustache, Justin commented: ‘U guys literally look related to me.’

They’re some blessed genes to have.
