An ex-teammate disclosed that David Beckham had a hidden interest that frequently kept him up all night while representing England.
The former captain of the Three Lions snuck away from the chaos of football to unwind by building Lego.
Ben Foster, a former teammate and custodian, claimed that David enjoyed making things out of the bright plastic blocks to relax when he was playing for his nation.
‘He used to bring Lego sets to England. He would go into his room and just do Lego all night,’ Ben explained.
He continued telling on the sports star: ‘It would propper chill him out. He would just sit there, do his Lego set, have a nice time. Lovely.’
The footballer was chatting about his days with England while recording an episode of his own show Fozcast – The Ben Foster Podcast.

The football great has already been associated with Lego; in 2017, he stood next to a massive Disney castle he had constructed for Harper Seven, the daughter he and his wife Victoria share.
In addition, David has been credited with finishing tasks including a Lego Land Rover, a London bus, and a Millennium Falcon.
While making an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel programme, the celebrity was even given a box of the Danish construction blocks.
He said of his love for the children’s toy at the time: ‘It’s before I had kids, I grew up making Lego when I was eight or nine years old.

‘Actually I continue it and Victoria always laughs at me, she’ll come down at like two o’clock in the morning and I’ll be trying to finish a piece off.
‘She posted something the other day and I think she said because it was like 11 years and above, she was like: “Really? You are still up at two o’clock in the morning doing 11 years and above LEGO?”’
In other parts of the conversation, the 40-year-old sportsman acknowledged that the former player was a “goalie’s nightmare” but commended him for his abilities on the pitch.
Ben explained: ‘He really was like balls into the box, whether he shooted from that free kick or he’s whipping it across the face of the goal.’
David wasn’t one of the outstanding players during training sessions while kicking the ball for England, the star admitted while admitting his potential.
He said: ‘That weren’t his game, he would be the master of putting that ball in that corridor of uncertainty. It would be ridiculous.’
