Dog The Bounty Hunter remembered his wife Beth Chapman on what would have been her 53rd birthday.
The TV star, 67, whose real name is Duane Chapman, lost his wife Beth to cancer last June.
Taking to Instagram, Dog shared a snap of his Beth smirking at the camera and talked about how she is celebrating her big day ‘with Jesus.’
‘You are celebrating this day with Jesus and all his angels that’s the only thing that gets us through without you happy birthday Beth we miss you & love you,’ he captioned the post.
His daughter Lyssa also paid tribute to Beth, reminiscing about her last birthday spent at a steak house.
‘Mady came running to my room last night, eyes filled with tears,’ she wrote alongside a snap of Beth and her daughter Mady.
‘She looked up at me and said “ Mom I miss my Grandma” I hugged her as she sobbed.
‘I had a hard time coming up with anything comforting to say to her, because I miss you too.’
She continued: ‘I find small comfort knowing for your last birthday we had an amazing dinner at @mortonssteak, I got in some trouble that night and I’ll never forget you laughing at me the next day.’
The birthday tribute comes after Dog revealed that her death is the most difficult thing he has been through.
He told the Daily Star: ‘It is the worst thing I have ever been through in my entire life. It just feels terrible to lose a spouse and have your wife go before you.
‘I’ve had to adjust – Beth isn’t there anymore telling me to stay back or warning me a guy is about to shoot.
‘But I’m no longer afraid to die. I don’t want to die, but I’m not scared anymore. When I go to catch somebody, I stick out my chest and go for it.’
