Dwayne Johnson just shared a beast of a photo of him following a difficult workout in the gym and, well, we’re now feeling incredibly lazy.
The WWE star turned actor, 48, proved that he isn’t called The Rock for no reason as he snapped a photo of himself sweating all over while catching his breath back after a hard session.
Sitting on a gym bench, Dwayne showed off just how ripped he is in his sports gear, with his muscles bulging out of his sleeveless gym vest and lycra shorts.
He was wearing wrist guards and his hands were covered in chalk from lifting weights (probably the size of us all), with Dwayne revealing that his recent workout had been a particularly challenging one.
The Moana star captioned his snap: ‘Hell didn’t freeze over and Jesus just left Chicago. Again.
‘Pushed hard today. Training was inspired. Grateful to grind. #sundaysweat #callousedhombre #zzvibes.’
And there’s us thinking Sundays were for roast dinners and Netflix binges.
When he’s not busy pumping iron, Dwayne is passing the time making dreams come true and recently delighted one of his fans with a surprise birthday shoutout as they turned 101.
Yup, Dwayne personally serenaded her with a rendition of happy birthday via video call, as well as bestowing his oldest fan with two bottles of his very own tequila and a personalised card.
He filmed the whole thing for Instagram, so it’s no surprise then why Dwayne has become a sure fire hit on the social media platform – recently becoming the number one most followed man in the US.
The star has now surpassed 200million followers on Instagram, beating the likes of Justin Bieber who has 150million.
Dwayne celebrated the achievement with a glass of tequila – his own, of course – and thanked fans for allowing him to always speak his truth on his social pages.
‘Always speak your truth. Always speak your truth and do your best to speak your truth with compassion, with a little bit of poise, with a little bit of dignity, with respect, and with empathy,’ he advised fans.
‘Even when speaking your truth means you’re going to dive into some conversations that might make people a little uncomfortable, and that’s okay.’
