Tearful Chrissy Teigen revealed her appreciation for the supportive messages she has received from fans about her stillborn son, Jack.
The 35-year-old and her husband John Legend, 42, lost their third child in September 2020, and Chrissy was moved to tears on Wednesday as she read some of the condolence letters she had been sent by well-wishers.
Taking to Instagram Story, the embattled model explained she had ‘just got’ the delayed delivery of fan mail as she showcased the hefty pile in a video clip.
The Cravings founder stated that the letters were sent to her agency William Morris Endeavor last year, but then the mailroom had ‘shut down’ amid the pandemic.
Now that it had opened back up again, Chrissy was overcome with emotion as she finally received the stack of handwritten letters.
‘This is just…piles of letters that we just got, because um the place, uh, the place we usually get mail from — where you guys send mail — has been shut down and opened back up,’ the Lip Sync Battle star said as she became choked up with tears.

She continued: ‘Now we got everything so if you send us, you guys sent the most amazing condolence letters and cards and books, and I just want you to know we got all of them, all of them.
‘I’m gonna read them all okay? I love you guys. I got this okay, I got it and I love you.’
Chrissy highlighted one kind letter which read: ‘I do not know if you will get this but I wanted to let you know, October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month.’

The fan also said they would ‘light a candle for Jack on October 15,’ which made the model cry even more.
Indeed, fans were devastated for the couple after they revealed they had lost their son at 20 weeks of the pregnancy.
Doctors had diagnosed Chrissy with partial placental abruption – where the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus causing the baby’s airflow to be blocked or limited – which meant her body could not sustain the child.

The emotional post came as Chrissy continues to try and move forward from the fallout of her online bullying scandal.
In a previous post, Chrissy confessed she was ‘depressed’ after joining the ‘cancel club’ following the revelations she sent nasty private messages on social media to people including reality TV star Courtney Stodden.
