Frankie Bridge has shared some adorable snaps with her two sons while they enjoy a winter sun getaway, as she made a relatable comment about her eldest usually being ‘too grown up for pictures with Mummy’.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! finalist is currently enjoying a gorgeous tropical break (like many celebrities) with footballer husband Wayne Bridge, 41, and their two sons, Parker, eight, and six-year-old Carter.
Taking to Instagram to post some photos to her grid on Thursday, the former Saturdays star made it all about her boys as she shared a posed selfie of herself with her arm around Parker, as well as one of him snoozing on the bed.
She also shared a picture of her and both boys dangling their feet into the water off a jetty as they watched stingrays swim in the turquoise ocean while on their exotic holiday (nope, we’re not jealous).
The final snap was a sweet photo of Parker snuggling up behind his mum for a cuddle on a sun lounger, smiling at the camera as Frankie took a picture.
The 32-year-old commented: ‘Rare sightings of my first born… as he’s now too grown up for pictures and hanging out with Mummy… but every so often he forgets and I get cuddles… I love yous and conversations. I’ll take all I can get!’
After her recent three-week stint at Gwrych Castle for I’m A Celebrity, Frankie revealed to Metro.co.uk that her husband was instructed by their children not to vote for her to stay in the competition, as they were missing her too much.
Of her emotional homecoming, she recalled: ‘They didn’t really say anything as I walked in, they just jumped on me.
‘The boys came into bed with me and Parker would keep touching me to make sure I was there.
‘Then Wayne told me that they asked him not to vote so I would come home earlier.’
However, boys being boys, they also wanted to make sure their mum – who had been busy doing things like drinking fermented eggs and pig anus and complaining about her underwear ‘stinking of fish guts’ – was clean before she re-entered their house.
Appearing on Loose Women after her stint on the reality show, the panellist admitted: ‘My son did ask me how many times I’ve washed, because he wanted to be sure I was clean enough to be home!’
