Giovanna Fletcher denies claims she ‘regrets’ winning I’m A Celebrity: ‘I’m blown away and not regretful in the slightest’

No, Giovanna Fletcher doesn’t ‘regret’ winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The podcaster was named Queen of the Castle earlier this month, beating Jordan North and Vernon Kay to the ITV crown.

However, it was reported that the 35-year-old wasn’t too thrilled about her new title – something she has now denied.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a black-and-white snap as she grinned at the camera, while flashing a heart sign.

‘Just seen an article in a magazine with “an insider” who says I regret winning the show…,’ the mum-of-three began.

‘I’m not sure who “the insider” was but it’s clearly someone I haven’t spoken to.

‘I can categorically say that being part of @imacelebrity was a career highlight and I’m so grateful for the love that has been thrown my way in the last few weeks.

‘I’m blown away and not regretful in the slightest. As a mother I’ll always be juggling family life and work – but I’m also very excited about what the future holds.

‘No negativity, no regrets – just full on positivity and love. Xxx.’

So that’s that, then.

Fans were quick to flood Giovanna’s comments with praise, branding the star an ‘inspiration’.

Well,’ they’re not wrong.

‘You did amazing, we’re all proud of you,’ one replied.

‘Absolutely wonderful lady full of inspiration xxx,’ a follower wrote.

‘And that is why you are a true queen, both in the castle and in real life,’ an Instagram user commented.

As another added: ‘You are amazing Mama G! we all love you so much!’

Giovanna left fans in tears as she took home the crown, after smashing her time in Gwrych Castle, alongside Jordan, Shane Richie, AJ Pritchard and Sir Mo Farah.

The author – who is married to Tom Fletcher – went the extra mile in every trial and was on hand every time her co-stars needed support.

She was the favourite to win the show, and voting records showed she narrowly pipped Radio 1 star Jordan to the post.

The final figures reveal she won with 50.27% of the public vote, while Jordan finished second with 49.73%.
