Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly working on a chocolate line based on her popular This Smells Like My Vagina scent.
The 50-year-old A-lister is said to have filed paperwork that would undoubtedly propel her to the forefront of the confectionary industry.
Before you ask, yes, according to the paperwork, Gwyneth will name her chocolate line This Tastes Like My Vagina.
The Oscar winner also intends to sell the sweet delights on her Goop website, which is why she is trademarking the new brand.
According to the Sun, the paperwork was filed to the US Trademark and Patent Office and government attorneys are currently reviewing the papers.
The outlet also says the application will cover both ‘candy and chocolate’.
Gwyneth left folks perplexed when she produced a candle named This Smells Like My Vagina through her Goop lifestyle business in 2020.
It quickly sold out on the Goop website and quickly became a fan favourite.
Gwyneth previously stated that the candle is more than just a candle; it is a “punk-rock message.”
Chatting to Ellen DeGeneres, Gwyneth revealed she made the This Smells Like My Vagina candle to challenge the idea that ‘women have been taught to have a certain amount of shame about their body’.
‘If you just light a candle that says This Smells Like My Vagina and put it on the coffee table, it’s kind of a punk rock statement,’ she added.
However, in 2021, one devotee was alarmed when the candle allegedly generated a ‘inferno’ in their house.
Jody Thompson won the Goop product in an online quiz and alleges that when she tried to fire it, it ‘exploded’ with a 50cm high flame.
A spokesperson for Goop said at the time: ‘We’re in touch with the woman to see if she followed the specific fire safety instructions included with the candle, such as trimming the wick and not burning it for more than two hours.
‘At Goop, we vet the products we sell and make customer safety a priority, so we’ve alerted the manufacturer to the woman’s issue and have also reached out to her to send her some goop products to help pass the days in quarantine.’
