Hailey Bieber wants children “so bad,” but is “scared” of having a family in public.
The 26-year-old model has been married to Justin Bieber since 2018, and while she admits they are eager to have children, she is concerned about the hostility they may encounter as a result of unpleasant internet comments.
Asked about having children in a new interview, the runway star shared: ‘I literally cry about this all the time!
‘I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.
‘I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.’
She added to the Sunday Times’ Style magazine: ‘We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.’

Hailey recently posted on Instagram that she had gone through’some of the saddest, darkest times’ of her life this year, but she emphasised that she was writing about the ‘uncomfortable development’ she had been experiencing.
‘I just felt like I was going through a lot of difficult development,’ she added regarding the post in her latest interview.
‘Whenever you’re transitioning from one time of your life to another, it’s really uncomfortable and it can be really sad … [I was] just trying to connect with other people who might feel that way.’
In her post, Hailey said her ‘mind is fragile’ and assured anyone else experiencing similar feelings that they ‘aren’t alone’.

In a message posted on Instagram Hailey wrote: ‘I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time.’
She went on: ‘But truthfully since 2023 started I have had some of the saddest, hardest moments I’ve ever had in my adult life and my mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least.
‘And I know so many other people feel the way I feel, so just know you’re not alone.’
Hailey added: ‘That being said, let’s keep being there for one another. Let’s be there for loved ones and friends and family and strangers.
‘Let’s just be there for people.. let’s keep showing up for each other even when it’s hard. We’re better together.’
