Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden and Lisa Faulkner were among the celebrities who couldn’t wait to get out and enjoy the snow as London and its surrounding areas became blanketed today.
This Morning presenter Holly blessed her Instagram followers with a cheerful selfie, wrapping up warm and braving the chill for the photo op.
With thick snow flakes falling over her hair, Holly smiled and wrote in the caption: ‘You wanna build a snowman ☃️…’
Bradley Walsh couldn’t help but jokingly mock the TV star and commented: ‘Has your Quilt burst ?’
The Saturdays singer Mollie King added: ‘Yesss!! Gorgeous shot x.’
The One Show presenter Matt Baker also said: ‘On it ? looking forward to the show tonight.’
Holly’s This Morning co-host Rochelle Humes complimented her pal: ‘There she is,’ alongside an icicle emoji.
Rochelle also managed to venture out but didn’t stop to build snowmen, instead trudging through the slush with a trolley filled with groceries.
‘No snow stopping my roast dinner,’ she captioned the snap after a shop at Marks & Spencer.
Britain’s Got Talent host Amanda shared a video of the snow falling gracefully over her garden and wrote optimistically: ‘And just like that… the world suddenly felt more hopeful.’
It seems her children wasted no time in getting to work on their snow girl and, in addition to the traditional carrot nose, gave their sculptures a multi-coloured wig and a very timely face mask.
Rio Ferdinand led his family on a big walk near their home and shared footage of wife Kate pushing their baby boy Cree in his buggy, as his other children Tate, Tia and Lorenz walked alongside her.
‘It’s cold outside guys. Minus three I think,’ he said while shivering and holding on his dog’s leash.
Former EastEnders actress Lisa shared a selfie similar to Holly’s and told her Instagram followers: ‘Don’t know how long it will last but while it’s here I AM SMILING!!! Let it snow let it snow let it snow ❄️.’
Ex Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton had all the fun with her husband Jesse Wood, who was pictured jumping for joy in the snow-covered street.
Alongside a cheery selfie, Fearne was also seen looking ecstatic in the middle of a field and captioned the photos: ‘No home school and snow! I’ll take it! ❄️☃️.’
The couple’s children, Rex and Honey, were nowhere to be seen in the pictures but no doubt the kids also got to enjoy the snow day.
