Jamie Laing jokingly displayed his new clothes after his honeymoon plans with new bride Sophie Haboo were thwarted after his luggage was misplaced by the airline.
The former Made in Chelsea actor, 34, arrived in Panama without any clothing after his lavish wedding to fellow cast member Sophie, 29.
Sophie couldn’t help but make fun of her husband as he put on the clothes provided by hotel personnel while showing off the breathtaking vistas from their picturesque vacation in the Central American hotspot.
Jamie travelled in green baggy tracksuit pants and was provided a lime green polo top that was too big for him by’very friendly’ personnel as he waited for his baggage to arrive.
As the newlyweds walked to dinner in Jamie’s mismatched costume, he resigned himself to wearing the same pair of white’staff flip-flops’ he had been wearing around the pool.
In the clip, Sophie could be heard asking Jamie to describe his outfit that consisted of his ‘travelling trackies’ to which he responded: ‘One of the staff gave me their Lacoste shirts which he got for Christmas but it doesn’t fit him because he’s smaller than me – which I think is quite hard – and then Sophie likes the colour because it’s green’.
During the video, Sophie noted that because they were on an island, there were no stores where the celebrity could get a new clothing.
Earlier in the day, the podcast presenter and entrepreneur updated followers on the status of his holiday, revealing that he had to sit by the pool in his boxers as improvised shorts.
He recorded himself sitting topless and begged people for help locating a misplaced bag.
Jamie said: ‘Good morning from Panama. Still no sign of the suitcase!
‘So at the beginning it was kinda funny, ha ha ha, wahey we’re on our honeymoon but actually being on honeymoon without a suitcase is a f**king nightmare.
‘I have no clothes whatsoever, nothing at all and I’m on honeymoon and I really need it so anything would help.’
He ended the video with a grimace and a thumbs up and posted it to his Instagram stories with a caption that read: ‘Having lost luggage on honeymoon is a real nightmare’.
