I’m A Celebrity 2020: Giovanna Fletcher is public’s top choice as voting figures for final revealed

ITV has released the breakdown of both public votes during the final of I’m A Celebrity 2020 and Giovanna Fletcher came out on top both times.

The Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast host, 35, was crowned the first ever queen of the castle, as she took home the I’m A Celebrity title, beating her campmates Jordan North and Vernon Kay.

In the first vote off of the final episode, that saw Vernon finish in third place, Giovanna topped the vote with 39.45% of the vote, while Radio 1 presenter Jordan racked up 34.06%.

Vernon secured 26.5% of the vote, meaning he was the first of the final three to be given the boot.

Viewers then cast the votes once again to decided the winner of I’m A Celebrity, with Giovanna narrowly pipping Jordan to the post.

The final figures reveal she won with 50.27% of the public vote, while Jordan finished second with 49.73%.

Over the course of the series, both Giovanna and Jordan were tipped as favourites to win, with viewers left delighted when Giovanna finally took home the crown.

Following her win, Giovanna told hosts Ant and Dec: ‘I can’t believe it, people have literally picked up their phone and voted. I can’t believe it. It’s been the most amazing experience.’

Giovanna, who is married to McFly star Tom Fletcher, is now being tipped to be the next Davina McCall, with sources claiming she is set to earn up to £4million after being inundated with TV offers.

‘Giovanna’s popularity went through the roof on Celebrity and after being crowned the winner ITV hope to champion her,’ insiders told The Sun.

‘Bosses had a meeting where ten jobs were mooted, all of which would be perfect for her.’

Giovanna, however, is reportedly not ‘rushing into anything’. She is famed for her hit podcast series and penning a number of novels, including Billy And Me, Some Kind of Wonderful and Dream A Little Dream.

The star is mum to three boys, Buzz, six, Buddy four, and Max, two, he shares with husband of eight years Tom.
