Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has opened the door on her family’s Christmas celebrations and we have to say, this is some winter goodness to warm the cockles.

Amanda and husband Clive share nine children together – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy – and managed to put on quite the show for punters on social media over the festive period.

The family spent the holidays on their 2,000-acre farm, Ravenseat, and tended to their many animals on what turned out to be a bit of a white Christmas for the lot.

In scenes shared to Amanda’s 465,000 followers on Instagram, the Owen brood was seen gathering firewood, feeding the sheep and horses, and heading out on winter rambles down the hilly farmlands.

On Boxing Day the family set off for a walk, while Amanda showed her son Reuben taking a ride on beloved horse Hazel.

She even shared a glimpse into what was on the family dinner plate, revealing a Boxing Day ‘crowd pleaser’.

Amanda wrote alongside one of the kids tucking into a hearty meal: ‘I appreciate that this is not particularly aesthetically pleasing & opinions will differ but turkey, stuffing and gravy with twice cooked chips is more of a favourite here than the traditional Christmas Dinner.’

To be fair, that meal looks like one hell of a warmer we can get around.

Before the big day Amanda shared images of the kitted out sitting room, with a large, sparkling tree decked out in the corner, with Christmas cards strung up across the ceiling beams.

It’s a jam-packed Christmas, but recently the shepherdess, 47, was drawn on whether she would consider expanding their family once more, in a candid chat with OK! Magazine.

When asked if she had changed her stance on previous comments she made about ‘never saying never’ to baby number 10, she said: ‘I don’t know! If anyone knows anything it’s honestly that I have not got a plan. I plan for today and maybe tomorrow and that’s where it stops.

‘I think we should all give ourselves a bit of a break when it comes to parenting. As long as the kids are happy, well-fed and washed… that will do!’

Amanda’s husband Clive was noticeably missing from her festive snapshots, after speculation of a ‘rocky patch’, with the couple previously releasing a statement asking for privacy as they navigated the situation.

They said: ‘We’re a normal family, and we’ve never said our marriage is perfect. Unfortunately, the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we’re going through.’
