Jacqueline Jossa has said that therapy helped save her marriage to Dan Osborne after he was accused of cheating on her.
The former I’m A Celebrity winner has spoken out on therapy being a ‘good thing’, explaining she doesn’t understand the stigma around it.
Recalling that there was ‘no big argument’ and ‘no other girls’ following the cheating claims, Jacqueline pointed out that temporarily moving out of the house they shared was how she had to deal with them.
Speaking about attending therapy, she added: ‘Some of the stuff I was dealing with wasn’t even all about him. There were other things too that I needed to address.’
The 28-year-old told The Sun: ‘It really, really helped, especially in terms of communication, teaching us how to talk to one another better.
‘Therapy is a really good thing, whether for yourself or for a couple. I don’t understand why it’s still frowned upon. In America they use therapy like they go to the dentist.’
Jacqueline and Dan, 29, started dating in 2013, welcoming daughter Ella together two years later.
The pair tied the knot in a swanky wedding in 2017, completing their family with daughter Mia the following year.
Their relationship has seen a series of ups and downs over the years – as they reportedly split in 2018 after pictures emerged of the Celebrity Big Brother star looking cosy on a boat with Love Island’s Gabby Allen.
At the time, Dan denied any cheating claims, hitting out at the rumours on social media. After reconnecting, their marriage was rocked again last year when the dad-of-three was forced to hit back at allegations he had a threesome with Natalie Nunn and Chloe Ayling.
He issued a lengthy apology for the ‘mistakes’ he had made during their romance, following Jacqueline’s exit from the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
More recently, Jacqueline has been sharing loved-up photos with her hubby as she and her family prepare for Christmas.
Sharing a snap for her birthday earlier this month, she showed the pair of them rocking matching dressing gowns and wrote: ‘Date night ??❤️
‘Best birthday ever. We’ve had a facial, spa evening and then a lush dinner, now slightly tipsy, in bed watching pitch perfect, so…. best night really. We miss the babies but back tomorrow. ?’.
