Jake Quickenden has shared the sweetest tribute for his mum Lisa, thanking her for being a ‘massive help’ with newborn baby Leo.

The singer and reality star and his girlfriend Sophie Church welcomed their first child together in February, with the pair recently receiving support from fans after revealing that they’ve had to put up with disgusting trolling aimed at the little one’s appearance.

But one of their biggest supporters is clearly Lisa, with Jake taking the time to thank his mum, who has ‘been through the ringer,’ as he shared a sweet photo of the pair of them taking little Leo out for a walk.

‘Mums last day, she was only supposed to come for one night ended up staying three ?!!’ the 32-year-old wrote.

‘It’s been amazing to see her with Leo, also to have an extra pair of hands is a massive help.

‘My mums been through the ringer, lost my little brother and my dad ( they were separated but still close friends ) she still smiles and I still give her as much s**t as I can, it’s the relationship we have and I wouldn’t change anything about it, she’s bailed me out constant times, like when I maxed out a credit card at 21 ?!!

‘Or when I spent all my dad’s inheritance money on nights out with the lads!!! She’s always had my back and I love her to bits!! Until the next time ( if she can handle it) love you.’

So cute!

Fans were left shocked when Jake recently had to call out vile trolling that had been aimed at four-week-old Leo’s appearance.

Posting an image of the little one online, Jake lashed out, writing: ‘REAL POST… So in the past week this little man has been told he needs Botox, that he’s ugly as f**k and that he’s weird looking, me myself have also been told stay off social media if you don’t want to be trolled.

‘It’s so baffling to me that I should have to stay off social media if I don’t want my four-week-old trolled.

‘I don’t mind people giving me s**t, as sad as it is I’ve had to get used to being called “irrelevant“, “ugly“, “attention seeking“ and the list goes on but to troll an innocent child is so wrong and the people doing it seriously need to seek help.’

Jake said that he was shocked by the ‘thought process of some people’, insisting he would stand his ground on the web.

He continued: ‘Maybe people just shouldn’t troll. I enjoy social media it’s full of lovely people who are supportive and I like sharing my ups and downs.

‘I try and be real as possible, but unfortunately there is a dark side of social media and something needs doing about it.’

The reality star was inundated with supportive comments from fans, telling him his son was ‘beautiful’ and that he should ignore ‘attention seeking idiots’.

He later shared the cutest photo of Leo, with some sage advice to fans, as he wrote: ‘Be kind, have an opinion but if it’s not welcome on someone’s page just scroll past and go on with your day, this baby bubble is amazing, it’s tough but the most amazing thing. ❤️’.
