James Corden is said to have been a huge help in keeping Harry Styles’ romance with rumoured new girlfriend Olivia Wilde under wraps.
Speculation is rife that One Direction star Harry, 26, is now dating Hollywood actress Olivia, 36, after sparks flew between them on set of upcoming movie Don’t Worry Darling.
Pictures surfaced of the pair holding hands while attending a wedding together in California over the weekend and now it’s been reported that romance blossomed for the couple at Corden’s house in Palm Springs.
The Late Late Show host had let Harry stay at his pad in Palm Springs during filming for Don’t Worry Darling, with sources saying it allowed singer Harry to spend ‘time alone’ with Olivia and their relationship to develop away from prying eyes.
An insider claimed to Page Six: ‘This relationship between Harry and Olivia is very new. Olivia has been directing Harry in the movie in Palm Springs and there were literally 10 people on the set because they were strictly adhering to Covid rules.’
‘Harry had been staying at James Corden’s house near Palm Springs during filming and so they were able to be alone and keep their relationship very secret,’ they explained.
‘Everyone was really surprised, and rather delighted, when Harry brought Olivia as his date to the wedding and introduced her as his girlfriend.’
Addressing the 10-year age gap between the pair, the insider added that Harry ‘doesn’t give a f**k’.
Harry and Corden have been longtime pals, first getting to know each other when he was a part of boyband One Direction, alongside Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan.
The Adore You singer has previously dated the likes of Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner and late presenter Caroline Flack when he was 17 and she was 31. More recently, he was romantically linked to model Camila Morrone.
Olivia, meanwhile, split from ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis at the beginning of 2020.
They had been together for nine years and share two children; son Otis, six, and daughter Daisy, four. Jason proposed to Olivia in 2012, with the pair calling it quits eight years later.
A source said at the time: ‘It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.’
