The actor, model and MMA fighter tied the knot with the Golden Globe winning actress on May 4, 2019.

Her Jane The Virgin leading man, Justin Baldoni, who played Gina’s character Jane’s love interest Rafael, sang her down the aisle for their special day.

Gina gushed over her love for Joe in the run up to their big day, even thanking an ex for dumping her and allowing her to find someone that ‘made her truly happy’.

‘I never was the girl that dreamt about my wedding,’ she told Associated Press about her engagement.

‘I did always pray that I would meet a really cool partner, whether it was going to be male or female, that I was going to have somebody that was going to uplift me and support me and want me to shine and not want to take away from that, but want to shine as well in their own right.’

‘I found it in Joe, and I found it on the set of Jane,’ she added.
