Jenson Button’s fiancée Brittny Ward has given birth to their daughter.
The Formula One star, 40, and US model, 30, have named their little girl Lenny Monrow Button. The pair already share a son called Hendrix, who is 17-months-old.
The couple announced their joyous baby news in a statement shared on Instagram alongside pictures, which included a family selfie in hospital and Brittny cradling the newborn.
‘Welcome to the world Lenny Monrow Button,’ she wrote.
‘Mummy and Daddy are completely in love. She has dimples just like her big brother.’
Jenson became romantically involved with former Playboy Playmate Brittny several months after his marriage to model Jessica Michibata ended in late 2015.
He proposed to her in June 2018.
Also taking to Instagram to celebrate the arrival of his daughter, Jenson wrote: ‘Welcome Lenny Monrow Button. Mummy & Daddy are besotted already.
‘She has the cutest little dimples like her big brother Hendrix. Britt is doing amazing and recovering well.’
The birth comes just weeks after their son Hendrix was taken to hospital after suffering a febrile seizure.
Brittny shared at the time that Hendrix had recovered well, and explained that they often happen to infants when there’s a sudden spike in temperature and it’s the body’s response trying to regulate intself.
Hendrix underwent surgery earlier this year, as he ‘completely dislocated’ his hip due to hip dysplasia.
The condition occurs when the hip socket doesn’t cover the ball of the upper thighbone, meaning the joint can become dislocated.
Most who suffer from the condition are born with it, and it is more common in firstborn children.
