Jill Scott, DJ Joel Corry, and Bugzy Malone are among the celebrities expected to perform for England in this year’s Soccer Aid.

In 2022, Get Me Out of Here will make her debut at the celebrity charity football event.
She will also be the first female player to captain Soccer Aid’s England squad in the charity match, which will take place on Sunday, June 11 at Manchester’s Old Trafford Stadium.
In a statement, the football star stated that she hopes to win for England for the first time since 2018.
‘It’s the holy trinity: the Euros, The Jungle, and now Soccer Aid for UNICEF!’ she said.
‘I’ve already won two of them, so all I need now is Soccer Aid to complete “The Treble”! ‘Of the three, I think this is the one that makes me the most anxious – just look at the names involved.’
Joining her will be DJ Joel and rapper Bugzy.
Corry said: ‘I’ve played some big gigs in my time – but this is going to be up there. I know the atmosphere at Old Trafford is going to be electric.’
Malone added: ‘Manchester – I’m coming home. Can’t believe Soccer Aid for UNICEF is in my hometown this summer – big vibes. I’m going to smash it but will need everyone to come out if we’re to beat Bolt.
‘This might be a football match on the day – but the legacy we are creating for the world’s children is so much deeper. It’s massive.’
England’s chosen celebrity goalie will be Paddy McGuinness, with Chelsea manager Emma Hayes and Line of Duty actor Vicky McClure co-managing the star-studded team.
Celebrities include musician Tom Grennan, Olympic gold medalist Sir Mo Farah, comedian Alex Brooker, former footballer and TV presenter Gary Neville, coach Paul Scholes, pundit Eni Aluko, and YouTuber Chunkz will take to the field to raise funds for Soccer Aid.
Karen Carney, Jermain Defoe, Gary Cahill, and Jack Wilshere are among the professional footballers due to take part.
They will be challenged by runner Usain Bolt, former footballer Robbie Keane, comedian Lee Mack, Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett, and Love Island winner and broadcaster Kem Cetinay.
Last year’s match at London Stadium raised £15 million, with Soccer Aid World XI winning 4-1 on penalties.
Since the charity match’s inception in 2006, the World XI has a six-to-five victory record against England.
Soccer Aid raises funds to assist give children all around the world a head start in life via play.
Dermot O’Leary will host the live broadcast on ITV1, STV, and ITVX.
