Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell ‘so gutted’ after being forced to cancel tour due to coronavirus

Joe Sugg and girlfriend Dianne Buswell have been left ‘so gutted’, after being forced to cancel their upcoming tour dates due to the pandemic.

The Joe and Dianne Show was scheduled to take place in 2020, with the couple planning on hitting the road to entertain fans up and down the country.

However, Joe and Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne decided to postpone their tour until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic hitting and the UK being plunged into a national lockdown.

The virus has wreaked havoc for live shows, given restrictions against large crowds congregating in one place. Now, a new strain of Covid-19 has forced the government to enforce another national lockdown, Joe revealed that he and Dianne have had no choice but to cancel their tour plans.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the YouTube star explained that the pair are ‘no longer in a position’ to tour in March and April, like they had hoped to with their rescheduled dates, and will now pull the tour completely to prioritise the ‘health and wellbeing’ of everyone involved.

A statement shared online read: ‘We are sad to announce that in light of the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic, we are no longer in a position to take the The Joe and Dianne Show on the road in March and April.

‘We are deeply disappointed not to be able to bring the show to life in front of audiences around the UK, but the health and wellbeing of our fans and everyone involved in the production must come first.’

It explained that fans will now be given refunds for any tickets purchased, with Joe and Dianne sharing their hopes of finally hitting the road some time in the future.

‘We look forward to going on tour in better times, but in the meantime take care of yourselves. Joe and Dianne,’ the statement concluded.

Joe told fans on social media: ‘So so gutted to have to share this news with you all.. but unfortunately the Joe & Dianne show has been cancelled. It must be done to keep everyone involved safe which is our top priority. #joeanddianneshow.’

Alongside the same statement, Dianne posted on her own Instagram page: ‘This is not something we wanted to be telling you all.

‘We have both worked so hard to create this wonderful show and were extremely excited to perform for you all But unfortunately due to the current circumstances health and safety of you all comes first ? lots of love from joe and Dianne x.’

Joe and Dianne have been dating since 2018, after starring together on Strictly. They went public with their relationship shortly after the series wrapped and are often seen sharing their romance online with fans.

Speaking to, however, Joe told us there are elements of his relationship with Dianne that the pair like to keep private.

‘In terms of like, our relationship, we’re both very much on the same page about what we do and don’t share,’ he said.

‘Obviously, you kind of want to share everything because it’s essentially what your job is, you’ve got that obligation to show your audience and be upfront about everything, but also we’ve got an amazing audience that understand there are certain things that we want to keep to ourselves.’
