Joe Swash and his wife Stacey Solomon have disclosed that they would like to foster a kid.
The couple has a very large family already.
They not only have Rex, Rose, and Belle, but they also have Harry, Leighton, and Zachary from past relationships.
Joe, 41, said in a recent interview that he and 33-year-old Stacey are unlikely to have any more children of their own, although they have discussed fostering.
Joe – whose mum Kiffy has worked in foster care for 15 years – explained: ‘Before you know it you’ve got six!
‘This is it, I’m pretty sure that this is it, we can’t go there again which is really sad, we love kids, we love the baby stage, and the toddler stage, and the baby stage goes by really fast, so it is a little bit sad but I think this will be it.’
He added on the Netmums podcast: ‘Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do.
‘We’d love to foster, we’d love to give something back, you know?’
Joe went on: ‘It is something that we definitely want to do when our kids get old enough that they’re not as reliant on us.’
It comes after Stacey said that she and Joe are taking “every precaution necessary” to prevent having a sixth child.
In a video shared to Stacey’s Instagram account, the couple was returning to family life and picking up the kids after a trip to Salzburg that left them feeling loved up.
After thanking her mother for caring for the couple’s three youngest children – Rex, four, daughter Rose, one, and four-month-old Belle – Stacey described how wonderful their vacation had been, telling viewers that she and Joe are on a’mini-break high,’ but they won’t be adding another child to their large brood.
‘We were kissing yesterday and the boys were like “urgh, you disgust me,”‘ the TV personality shared while cracking up laughing.
‘Oh but don’t worry loads of you messaging me saying “is this baby number six,”‘ she said before frantically waving at the camera.
‘Don’t worry we’re taking every precaution possible to make sure that doesn’t happen,’ she added before thanking fans for all of their lovely messages while they were away.
