Stacey Solomon is preparing for the birth of her second child with fiancé Joe Swash, but her other half’s help might not be appreciated this time.
The couple are expecting their baby girl soon with the Loose Women star charting her pregnancy journey on social media, from preparing their daughter’s nursery to stunning natural photos of her baby bump.
It’s the second child for the couple, who welcomed son Rex in 2019.
Stacey shared a video on Instagram of Joe helping her to get ready for when she goes into labour.
‘If it’s anything like last time, I don’t want it,’ the TV star, as Joe replied: ‘I’ve learnt from my mistakes.’
The mum-of-three explained: ‘The last time I went into labour, Joe panicked so much I thought something was wrong.
‘All I could hear was “Is that the right amount of blood? Are you sure there should be that much blood there?”‘
She filmed them both in the mirror of their wardrobe as Joe sat behind her and insisted he would know what to do this time.
He demonstrated how he would massage her, rub and pat her back and blow on her neck to help her get through the birth.
‘I know what to expect this time, so you’re fine, lots of massaging, lots of blowing, lots of rubbing,’ the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star said.
An unimpressed Stacey joked: ‘I swear to god if you do any of that while I’m in labour, you won’t see the end of it. You won’t make it through.’
The presenter, who is also mum to sons Zachary and Leighton, captioned the funny Instagram video: ‘Was just sitting in the wardrobe about to have a cuppa and put some moisturiser on but Joe’s gate crashed my evening to practice his birth partner technique.’
It may need a bit of work, Joe…
Stacey recently revealed that the baby is due later this year, so she and Joe have decided to push back their wedding so all their kids can be there.
‘We are going to move it back a bit, maybe not until next year,’ she said in a Q&A session on social media.
‘But we both said we’d be a bit gutted to look back at our pictures and all of our babies weren’t there. So for the sake of a few months we will do it when they’re all here.’
Stacey added: ‘We’ll wait until baby’s born and then do it, all of us together.’
It has been a big year for family as they also recently moved into a lavish dream home.
