Joe Wicks apologised to his followers on Friday after he was forced to cancel his PE With Joe live workout after his area was hit with internet issues.
The Body Coach, 34, took to Instagram and Twitter to tell his followers: ‘Sorry everyone. No PE with Joe today.
‘My internet is down in my area so I’m really sorry I can’t stream PE with Joe today.
‘I’ll be back Monday next week for sure. The engineer is coming to fix it tomorrow afternoon.’
He promised he’d prepared a ‘really great fancy dress outfit’ for the workout, which he was left unable to do at the last minute.
Joe also filmed himself running down the road trying to find the network engineer who was working on the issue to see if it could be solved.
The fitness guru explained to his followers: ‘Morning everybody, got some bad news – a bit of a nightmare.
‘I’m running around the streets trying to find the OpenReach broadband bod because the internet to the house is down so the live workout on the app today didn’t happen.
‘I can’t do PE With Joe for the first time ever. One megabyte per second upload speed just ain’t going to cut it, so I am really sorry but I can’t do PE With Joe today.
‘I can’t find the engineers but hopefully I’ll be back Monday with the internet up and running, so sorry everybody.’
Joe had begun the daily live workouts at the start of the first lockdown to get the nation’s kids moving each day.
He’d encouraged everyone to dress up in fancy dress on Fridays and promised that he had his own spectacular costume planned for this week.
Sadly fans will have to wait a week to see it as even the stars aren’t immune to WiFi issues when working from home.
