Kaley Cuoco’s ex-husband Karl Cook has said he’s ‘dealing with some stuff’ as he returned to social media amid his divorce to the Big Bang Theory star.
Last week Kaley confirmed she and Karl were going their separate ways, insisting their lives were simply taking them in different directions.
In a joint statement, they said there was no animosity in their split, despite reports surfacing claiming Kaley was requesting the courts to deny Karl – an equestrian and billionaire heir – spousal support.
Announcing their split, Kaley and Karl’s statement read: ‘Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realised that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions.
‘We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together.
‘There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.’
Returning to his Instagram this week, Karl made it clear he wouldn’t be addressing his marriage split.
He told his followers in a video: ‘Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. Been dealing with some stuff. But let’s walk and talk, drink and talk.’
Holding a glass of bourbon, while he alluded to his divorce from The Flight Attendant actress, he said: ‘I guess most importantly if you’re just watching this to hopefully hear me say something about what’s been going on in my life you can tune out, because I’m not going to.’
Instead he said he’d be ‘walking and talking’ with fans as it was something he found had ‘always been a bit therapeutic’.
Kaley and Karl met in 2016 and got engaged the following year, saying their vows in front of their loved ones in 2018 – with many Big Bang Theory stars among their guests.
News of their split may have come as a shock to fans as the pair shared loving tributes on social media to celebrate their third wedding anniversary in June.
‘NY, June 30th, 2016 is the year we met,’ Kaley wrote. ‘2 years to the day before we got married and now 3 years married!
‘Why have you stayed married to me for so long?! I’m sincerely impressed @mrtankcook lol I love you oh so much you have no idea…happy anniversary!!! [sic].’
In his own message, Karl added: ‘I agree @kaleycuoco I am just as amazed it’s been three years, feel like just a flash.
‘I love you so much and I can’t wait for a million more years!! [sic].’
