Kate Beckinsale appears to be on a quest to prove that there is nothing she cannot accomplish.
The 50-year-old London-born actress has recruited the assistance of a close friend to help her brush up on her nursing abilities.
While you’re unlikely to see Kate walking the wards at your local hospital anytime soon, she does have a steady hand.
The Van Helsing actress recorded herself placing a cannula into a male friend’s elbow as he guided her – and she did a fairly decent job!
Kate quipped on her Instagram page that she was at ‘nurse school’ from her own house since she was so focused on getting it perfect.
Kate managed to get it into his arm, which surprised her, thanks to a few recommendations from her buddy on which way to slide the needle and how much pressure to apply.
‘F***ing hell, did I do it?’, she exclaimed afterwards.
‘Now you’re gonna have loads of goodness in your veins,’ she told him after hooking him up for IV therapy.
While Kate’s bestie’s qualifications are unknown, he does operate his own health and wellness firm called Lively.
According to their social media, they provide’mobile IV hydration and vitamin treatment,’ which has grown popular among celebrities in recent years.
Many celebrities rely on IV vitamin injections to make them feel good and obtain frequent energy boosts that revitalise them throughout long movie shoots or gruelling globe tours.
Madonna has been known to take B12 injections to aid with energy, Gwyneth Paltrow utilises IV infusions to help enhance her immunity, and Jane Fonda frequently undergoes hydration treatments.
