Kate Ferdinand is battling tiredness as she adjusts to being a new mum after the birth of her son Cree.
The former Towie star has been open about her experiences since giving birth to her first child with husband Rio Ferdinand.
Something that she appears to be finding tough is a lack of energy.
She shared a message on social media about she was feeling exhausted by the challenges of raising a new born.
On her Instagram Story she posted a screengrab that said: ‘I feel like I’m already tired tomorrow’.
Cree brought some festive joy to the couple as he was born on December 18.
He spent his first ever Christmas with his older siblings Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, who Rio shared with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.
Kate found giving birth to Cree ‘traumatic’ and she had to have a C-section, which left her ‘completely wiped out’.
She revealed on social media ‘The happiness has been overwhelming but so have the tears and emotions, I’ve felt like I can’t do what I’m meant to be doing with Cree as I haven’t been able to change or feed him consistently which has had me feeling all types of guilt, for Cree, Rio & that I can’t be doing what I normally do for the kids.
‘It’s a whirlwind I just wasn’t expecting … but at the same time the most perfect whirlwind.’
She added that having Cree was ‘an amazing end to a pretty rubbish year’.
Rio popped the question to Kate in November 2018 on a rooftop in Abu Dhabi with his three children present. The couple tied the knot in September 2019.
