Katie Price has shared a video of herself getting her Covid-19 booster jab despite being afraid of needles.
The former glamour model, 43, was seen with her hands over her face as a vaccinator administered the jab into her right arm.
She appeared surprised as they told her it was all done, exclaiming: ‘Oh thank you – is that it?!’, before giggling at the camera.
Katie told her followers: ‘Got my booster today! I hate needles,’ followed by a series of crying laughing emojis.
Everyone has been encouraged to get the coronavirus booster vaccine once three months or more have passed since having their second jab.
The booster helps improve the protection from the first two jabs and prevent a person from getting seriously ill if they catch coronavirus.
The mother of five has been open about her fear of needles over the years, including in April when she had her first dose of the vaccine.
Katie shared a video of herself looking freaked out as they gave her the jab, adding: ‘Finally had my 1st Covid and I hate needles but it actually was over before I could start playing up.’
Despite undergoing several cosmetic surgery procedures over the years, the one thing Katie has remained fearful of is the needles that are involved.
In the summer, she and fiancé Carl Woods, 32, took on a series of unusual cosmetic procedures which she documented on YouTube.
Katie told the camera: ‘Needle! She said the word needle. Now you all know I’m petrified of needles. It better not hurt…I have numbing cream on.’
She also unveiled a new transformation this week after ditching her hair extensions to embrace her natural hair.
Katie shared photos of herself smiling with her natural short blonde hair, adding: ‘Hair out feeling fresh.’
