Katie Price nervously takes first ‘limited’ steps since breaking both her feet but full recovery is ‘months away’

Katie Price has taken her first steps since breaking both of her feet on holiday.

The former glamour model has been wheelchair-bound to let her feet heal after the horrific accident in July.

The 42-year-old, who recently returned from a romantic holiday to the Maldives with boyfriend Carl Woods, has been keeping fans updated on her recovery, revealing she can stand but is not allowed to walk as of yet.

Earlier this month she shared that even when she is able put weight on her feet she will never be pain-free.

Under strict guidance from her surgeon, she has been able to take limited steps.

However understands that a full recovery is still months away.

The My Crazy Life star, who was wearing trainers, managed to take a few steps but was then seen leaning onto a wall for support, taking care not to overdo things.

She sat down at an outside table to make a phone call while she waited for her boyfriend to leave the house and head to the driver’s seat of the car.

Katie then got up and managed to make the short journey to the car, however she is taking care not to overdo it.

The mum-of-five, wearing a baggy black cardigan with furry sleeves over black leggings, looked unsure as she carefully moved around the grounds of Carl’s home without her boot supports.

A source previously told The Sun that ‘one foot has been slower to heal than the other’ which is still causing the Loose Women star ‘a lot of pain’.

Katie had been told that it could take up to two years for her to recover from her injuries but has surprised doctors with how well her feet have healed so far.

The TV star’s heels have had metal plates and screws put into them to fix the broken bones.
