Katie Price ‘set to become Ex On The Beach’s in-house love guru’ for MTV’s new series

Katie Price may be all loved-up with boyfriend Carl Woods, but rumour has it she’s set to star on the new series of MTV reality series Ex On The Beach.

The former glamour model, 42, is said to be ‘in talks’ with show bosses to feature on the next series, but given the fact she’s pretty smitten with Carl, producers are keen on giving her a different kind of role.

Fans will know that usually Ex On The Beach sees a group of singletons head into a luxury villa, thinking that they’re in for a holiday romance (or two), only to find out they’re actually being reunited with their exes.

Yup, it can make for pretty awkward viewing and, as you can imagine, things can get pretty heated from time to time as old feelings and unfinished business rear their ugly heads.

Katie is no stranger when it comes to relationships and messy splits and for that reason, MTV are reportedly hoping to snap her up as this season’s in-house love guru.

She’ll be on hand to dish out advice to this year’s singletons when it comes to dealing with and ex and what not to do.

Sources told The Sun: ‘Katie always jokes she’s had enough experience with relationships to write the book on love, so it’s the perfect role for her – giving out advice on what to do – and what NOT to do – on the show.’

A rep for Katie added: ‘I can confirm that her management and PR are currently in talks with the show Ex on the beach.’

‘Katie’s part in the show is to be a new addition to the current format.’

The lineup for Ex On The Beach’s new series is yet to be announced, but reports have claimed Love Island star Jack Fincham has ‘signed up’ for the series.

He found fame on Love Island in 2018 alongside ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer and went on to star on E4 dating series Celebs Go Dating.

Ex On The Beach’s new series will follow on from Celeb Ex In The City – an adapted version of EOTB put together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Due to travel restrictions and social distancing measures in place, celebrities were sent out on blind dates in London, unaware that their exes would also be joining them.

It featured Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys-Fullam who surprised ex Liam Gatsby, Megan Barton-Hanson who reunited with Charlie Brake, and Love Island stars Michael Griffiths and Amy Hart.
