Katie Price is finally divorced from Kieran Hayler, more than three years after they split.
The former couple, who share children Bunny and Jett together, called time on their marriage in 2017 following a string of cheating allegations.
They have both since moved on, with the mum-of-five recently announcing her engagement to beau Carl Woods, who she started dating last summer.
It was initially announced that their separation was finalised earlier this year, but that was in fact the decree nisi – with the decree absolute reportedly coming through this week.
This means Katie can now start planning her future with Carl.
A representative for the 43-year-old told the Sun: ‘Katie believed the divorce had been finalised but this was in fact the decree nisi – not the absolute.
‘The divorce was amicable – focus being on positive parenting relations for their children.
‘Katie looks forward to planning her wonderful wedding to Carl Woods as she’s now officially single to proceed.’
Kieran also confirmed the news to the MailOnline, stating that there was no legal issue holding the process up.
‘As of July 12 we are now divorced. It took just over three years. We didn’t rush it; it was in the process for a long time and Covid-19 hit, which held up the courts. It wasn’t in our hands,’ he said.
‘I’m not even joking, it didn’t cost any more than £500, because there was no legal battle. We share custody of the children and we arranged that ourselves, and we do stick to it.
‘I said to her, I will be the only person that doesn’t take any money from you because that’s not who I am, I don’t want her money.’
The update means Katie is now officially free to marry Carl, meaning those wedding plans can be amped up a notch.
The pair have been inseparable ever since they started dating, and have made no secret of their plans to have a child together.
The Big Brother star, who is mum to Harvey, Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny, has been open about wanting to add to her brood once more.
However, Katie’s son Junior isn’t too convinced on the idea of becoming an older brother once more.
Speaking to the Mirror in a joint interview with dad Peter Andre – who also shares two children with wife Emily – he said of a possible new sibling: ‘No, because I think the age gap would be too big.
‘If Emily got pregnant now that means the baby would be born when I’m almost 17 and I don’t think the same strong bond would be there.
‘I’ll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see. I have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us.’
